Why rent from us?

When you play an orchestral instrument, forming a relationship with a local luthier and/or a violin shop is very important. Stringed instruments will, without exception, eventually need to be serviced.  We will often service our rental instruments at no charge, easing the worries of parents and students, should something unexpected go wrong.  Normal wear and tear such as broken strings, or if the instrument is at a total loss, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Also, we can provide free advice and guidance in your musical adventure. Playing an orchestra instrument is no easy task, and is a lifelong pursuit::
We will offer a free lesson with your rental to help prepare your student for success!

And as earlier stated, 100% of rental payments (for up to 2 years) may be applied towards the future purchase of any of our quality stringed instruments! This is important because good stringed instruments can be expensive, and it is important to invest over time through rental payments to make good instruments more affordable. Unfortunately, we have seen some people acquire a cheaper brand of instrument online, which in the end will prove insufficient, and will be a poor investment. It may cost the same amount of money to set up the instrument properly as the cost of the  instrument itself. If you find that you or your child enjoy playing the violin/viola/cello/bass, one day you will certainly want a quality instrument!

Finally, we seek to provide a relationship with customers that is mutually beneficial, rewarding and joyful. We will always do our best to provide the best customer service we can, and to treat all customers fairly. Ultimately, through our rental program we are here to serve children. We want them to achieve their greatest potential by providing them quality, affordable instruments, and musical guidance in their long, arduous, yet enjoyable quest to greatness!

Why buy from us?

We offer instruments at all price ranges - beginner, intermediate, advanced, and professional level instruments. And, most importantly, we are committed to providing the absolute best service and setup for all our customers - for those at the student level and the professional level.

With Antique Violins of Augusta, you can  rest assured that you are investing in your future!
